Hormone Healthy New Years Goals

Screw the new years diet.

That doesn’t mean you can’t set goals around getting healthier. I LOVE setting goals and help all of my clients do the same. Signing up for another diet just ain’t the way to go.

WHY you should make your hormones a priority

Out of whack hormones can be the root cause of so many health struggles, including-

  • exhaustion/fatigue

  • weight gain

  • infertility

  • PMS/painful periods

  • anxiety/depression

  • acne

  • trouble sleeping

  • low libido

  • digestive issues

  • PCOS

  • endometriosis

  • food cravings

These are all super common struggles for women, but you don’t have to just accept them as a way of life! There is so much power that lies in your diet and lifestyle.

hack breakfast

Skipping breakfast or reaching for toast or cereal is setting up your body for crazy blood sugar swings and cravings throughout the day. Your breakfast should be nutrient dense, high in protein, and high in fat to fuel your day. You will have so much more energy and more stable moods when you hack the first few hours of your day. be caffeine conscious

Not all caffeine is bad, but if you’re not being intentional it can seriously mess with your hormones! Common mistakes include drinking coffee on an empty stomach, not paying attention to coffee bean quality, and drinking your coffee black (adding a healthy fat like cream or coconut milk actually supports your blood sugar response!) eat a leafy green every day

Leafy green vegetables are nutrient powerhouses for your hormones. Kale, spinach, swiss chard, bok choy, mustard greens…get creative and get consistent! Your hormones will thank you.






clean up your beauty products

The endocrine disrupting chemicals in our personal care products are playing in a huge role in our hormonal health. Make a goal this year to slowly start switching over products as you run out- every little bit makes a difference! sleep more

If you are stressed and exhausted, your food can only do so much. Make it a goal this year to go to sleep earlier and protect your sleep fiercely. I cannot over emphasize how important sleep is. Read more on sleep + stress here.

add more minerals
